When someone is dreadful, you'll see that in their eyes, all tired and almost expressionless. When someone is happy, you'll see joyous facial expressions with dimples and the classical "aura" effect that surrounds the character. When someone is crying, you'll see their lips quiver either with fear or sadness. With Horikoshi's art, various emotions can be depicted that help convey the story that is being told. With each new arc, it sets up the plot foundations for the next new arc that comes. It is unlike other typical Shounen titles that can repeat the same plot formula repeatedly until the end of It provides room for side stories that allow us to witness greater character development as well as giving each character appropriate attention that will contribute to the overall plot. The way the story has been written, it doesn't fall apart. Kohei Horikoshi has done an excellent job of creating new and creative plots throughout the series. It has come off as beginner friendly for those just starting out. Eventually, this leads to him inheriting All Might's power, and with his newfound abilities, gets into his school of choice, beginning his grueling journey to become the successor of the best hero on the planet.įor someone getting into the manga or anime scenery, this is a series that I believe they'd especially love.
